RonVM Christmas Day Activities Ron and Gloria
spent their Christmas day visiting their aunt Annie and uncle
Walter in their new house in Fontana, California. Most of Annie's
family (Woudy, Christy, Ika, Brittany, Cody, Dillon, Denise, Eric,
Spencer) were present for the Christmas activities.
Ed (Ron's brother) and Joann traveled from Utah to spent
Christmas at their daughter's (Amie) house in San Diego,
California. Wendi, Nikki, Steve, the twins and some friends also
participated in their Christmas party.
Ida Mae (Gloria's mother) spent her Christmas day at home in
West Virginia entertaining Joe, Don and Melody while Edison, Alice
and Sheldon spent their Christmas at home in Pennsylvania,
California and Ohio.
Jennifer (Ron's daughter) spent her Christmas day in Tennessee
visiting her mom. |

Wendi (Ron's daughter) drives to Utah to visit her uncle Ed & aunt
Joann for the Thanksgiving holiday. It turns out that Joann's
immediate family had the same plans. Wendi, Ed & Joann (all

Ron and Gloria fly to West Virginia to visit Gloria's mother
during the Thanksgiving week. |

Walter (Ron's uncle) and family celebrated his 85th birthday in
his new house. |

Ron and Gloria complete an 8 day Western Caribbean Cruise on the
Mariner of the Seas. |

Ron was supposed to have a birthday barbeque with his family that
weekend but the temperature in Lake Elsinore was too hot. It
hovered between 106-113 Fahrenheit, so they all stayed indoors in
his air conditioned house. |

Information. In the late 1950's several of RonVM families migrated
from Netherlands, with only his mother's sister (Anne) and
father's sister (Irma) migrating to the United States. While
Anne's family moved only a few miles from Ron's family, his
father's sister family migrated to Indianapolis. Due to the
distance, the next 50 years Ron's father (Willy) and Irma only saw
each other once with a yearly letter or a phone call. Ron and
James met twice in that time span when James was in California on
business. I think you can call us the two lost families in the USA
since Willy and Irma visited each other on a weekly basis in the
Netherlands. Then just recently both James's sons made e-mail
contact with several family members here in California. We here in
the west coast are really happy to hear from the family back east
and hope we can meet on a more personal basis in the future. |

For ease of maintenance RonVM changed all Photo Albums to display
in English with an optional Dutch message when the Dutch flag icon
is present and selected. |

May 26 |
Wendi graduates from Cal State University at Long Beach. Following
the graduation ceremony her guests attended a nice dinner party
at the beach. Also, that weekend Ron and Gloria invited
everybody together for a graduation barbeque. |

Audrey and Jocelyn 4th birthday party. |

Jan 20 |
Jenny and Wendi arrived safely in Nashville Tennessee after
driving over 1800 miles from California. They made stops at the
Grand Canyon and Meteor Crater in Arizona. They both graduated
from High School in La Vergne Tennessee so Jennifer decided to
live there for a while Wendi flew back Sunday ready to finish
her senior year at Cal State Long Beach.
