Our beloved Irma (Ron's aunt), passed away today in
Indiana. The last of her siblings, she was 86. A good picture of

Ron went back to work today after being home for 4-1/2 months due
to a back problem. The prior weekend he visited his brother Ed in
Utah. The 8 hour drive in the corvette went well but it was very
hot driving through the desert that day (102-114F). Even went
quad-ing 15 miles one morning on one of the dirt roads in the
area. Ed lives at the 4000' level 18 miles outside of St. George
where the temperature was in the 80F. It was a good weekend to get
away from it all. |

Ron celebrated his 62th birthday in Santa Barbara, California.
Gloria gave him a surprise weekend in the best Hotel on the beach.
Took a land/boat tour, a vehicle that toured through Santa
Barbara's historic downtown then doubled as a boat to site see
through the marina, around the largest pier there and out on the
ocean. It took them to a floating buoy fully occupied with several
California Seals sunbathing. They also visited an Indian casino
where they both hit big within the first 30 minutes. Yes, they
still left that evening ahead. Ron carried the magical blue dot in
his wallet and it must have worked. It was a wonderful weekend. |

Wendi returns home from Alaska after visiting her sister Jennifer there.
Her stay included a 2000 mile road trip through Canada with Jennifer
which started in Juneau and finished in Kanai, Alaska. |

Our beloved uncle Walter (Ron's uncle), passed away today in
California.
He was 87. A small private funeral was held on a nice sunny day.
